Who we are

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address and message you enter, and any file you choose to attach. When you book a consultation we collect the details the booking form asks for. When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your name, email address and occupation. We also collect standard analytics data about how the site is used, through Google Analytics, and only if you consent to it.

Health information

Files and messages you send us may contain medical information about you — scans, reports, referral letters. You choose whether to send these; nothing on this site requires you to. We treat them as confidential medical records, we use them only to respond to your enquiry and to prepare for a consultation, and we do not share them with anyone outside the practice without your consent.

Why we may hold your data

For contact and booking: to answer you and to arrange care you have asked for. For medical information you send: with your explicit consent, and because it is necessary for the provision of healthcare. For analytics: with your consent. For the newsletter: with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted within 12 months. Where a consultation takes place, clinical records are retained for the period required by the applicable medical records legislation. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Wix, which stores the data on our behalf. Analytics go to Google. The chat widget is provided by Chaty. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent you gave. Write to andrewfishmanmd@gmail.com. If you are in the EU and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In Serbia, that is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
