Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

1.Describe and perform strategies for skull base approaches used in aneurysm surgery and aneurysm clip applications.

2.Recognize nuances of technique and apply strategies to avoid complications in clipping anterior circulation cerebral aneurysms.

3.Recognize nuances of technique and demonstrate methods to avoid complications in clipping posterior circulation cerebral aneurysms.

4.Demonstrate the details of STA-MCA anastamosis technique.

5.Identify neurosurgical procedures in which the CO2 laser fiber can provide clinical value and perform CO2 laser neurosurgery on intra-cranial and spinal indications.
