Dr. Fishman presented a comprehensive update on the latest techniques in Neurotology, Cranial Base Surgery and Ear Surgery at the VMA premiere Military Hospital in Belgrade, Serbia in June 2021.  He performed complex ear surgery with his colleague from VMA Dr. Milan Erdoglija.  During this visit, he consulted on other complex cases with Dr. Dusan Pavlovic who heads an esteemed clinic on Balance and Dizziness in the region.

Dr. Fishman was invited by Dr. Dusan Pavlovic to the Belgrade Balance Forum 2018 in Belgrade Serbia. Dr. Fishman lead a team of surgeons from the NATO Military Hospital in Bydgoszcz Poland to perform the first hearing preservation acoustic neuroma removal by the novel “Retrolabyrinthine Approach”.  The surgery was performed by doctors and nurses in the NATO regional hospital and the team was successful in completely removing the tumor and preserving both hearing and facial function in the young patient.

Dr. Andrew J. Fishman was invited June 5, 2017 to the Children’s Hospital of Bydgoszcz Poland to consult with doctors to implant new Hybrid Cochlear Implant.  Along with Dr. Jozef Meirzwinski, Dr. Fishman successfully implanted a child with severe hearing loss with the novel device.

Dr. Andrew Fishman and his colleague from Bydgoszcz Children's Hospital Jozef Mierzwinski were invited to the Children's Hospital of Lviv Ukraine.  There they performed a repair of a perforated tympanic membrane in a child.  The mission was organized to train the regional physicians in the techniques used.

Dr. Fishman was invited to join the faculty as a consultant for anterior cranial base endoscopic surgery and complex head & neck tumors.  He travelled to Bydgoszcz Poland in October and spent 3 month on a training mission.  He worked at the NATO Military Hospital as well as the Children's Hospital of Bydgoszcz and the Nicolas Copernicus University Hospital.  Some of the surgeries he performed included lymphangioma of the parotid gland and neck, deep neck congenital cysts and
