Operative Techniques with the Masters: 3-D Live Cadaveric Demonstration of Surgical Techniques

Dr. H. Hunt Batjer M.D. Professor and Chairman of Neurosurgery at Northwestern University, and Dr. Andrew J. Fishman M.D., Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery, demonstrated the transtemporal modification of the Extreme Lateral Paracondylar Approach to the Vertebral Artery and Foramen Magnum.  This procedure is used for treating complex tumors, vascular malformations, dural AV fistulae, and aneurysms of the low anterior cranial base.  This demonstration was performed with projection 3 dimensional microscopy and high definition video.
